Critical Innovations presents at Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency’s GOLDen hour extended EVACuation meeting

Dr. Ross Donaldson, President & CEO of Critical Innovations, delivered a presentation at the GOLDen hour extended EVACuation (GOLDEVAC) program Phase 1 Principal Investigator meeting hosted by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in San Antonio, Texas on November 21st. Critical Innovations was awarded funding from DARPA to develop its novel Revite™ Automated Trauma Resuscitation System technology under the GOLDEVAC program. DARPA’s GOLDEVAC program aims to explore whether automated resuscitation tools can enable field medics to manage complex polytrauma patients from the initial injury site, continuing throughout the entire evacuation process. Dr. Donaldson introduced Critical Innovations’ paradigm-shifting Revite™ technology to GOLDEVAC program performers and DARPA representatives in San Antonio. The group also toured the Institute of Surgical Research (ISR). Speakers at the November GOLDEVAC meeting included Major General Anthony L. McQueen, Deputy Surgeon General, Office of The Surgeon General, United States Army, and Lt. Col. Adam Willis, MD, PhD from DARPA’s Biological Technologies Office (BTO).
