Critical Innovations assists Project HOPE to provide relief for California fires

In response to the ongoing wildfires in the Los Angeles area, Critical Innovations is assisting Project HOPE to support recovery efforts. Project HOPE is a global health and humanitarian organization with 65+ years of experience strengthening access to health care and responding to health and humanitarian crises. Critical Innovations is providing Project HOPE with the use of their 10,000 square-foot warehouse and related facilities to stage their recovery efforts for the ongoing crisis.

Project HOPE’s Emergency Response Team is aiding communities affected by the fires by distributing hygiene items, clean water, and respiratory health supplies. In partnership with AltaMed and Lestonnac Free Clinic, they are supporting mobile medical units at the Pasadena Convention Center and in locations around Los Angeles County, offering free care for displaced families, including primary health, vision, and prescription services. The team is also expanding respiratory health and mental health support, including providing vouchers to access free therapy through BetterHelp and identifying opportunities to provide Psychological First Aid and Mental Health and Resiliency Training for frontline workers.
